On last Saturday, 8th of May we and other organisations joined to celebrated the International Fair Trade Day with our dear partner organisation the Fair Trade.
 

The Fair Trade Foundation is a non-profit organisation that promotes a sustainble development and justice by transforming trading structures and practices in favor of the poor and disadvantaged. Their main goal is to support the producers, the workers and the communities of the third world countries and to stop the exploitation of these regions by the capitalist economy. Their work is to demonstrate alternatives to common trade - that obviously does not always benefits everyone - through campaings that alerts all the citizens to these issues.
 
The event took place in Deak Tér's park right next to Godor and it started at 14:00 and lasted until 20:00 p.m.
